The Daewoo Matiz is probably the best fuel efficient car in some markets and one of the more economics in the world. Yet it has a 0.8L 3 cylinder MagicTech engine it has enough room for 5 and it comes nicely equiped.
The Matiz is also the safer in itīs class. According to the recent crash test the EuronCap* realized to the new Matiz it gave it 3 stars out of 5 in the frontal crash test.

Another pic. That orange color doesnīt give much credit to the car, Iīve seen yellow, green and red ones that looks better.

The previous one
The previous Matiz was introduced in 1998 and since itīs been a hit in countries like Italy, Spain and others where city cars are well accepted. In the Motor Show of Turin (Italy) 1998 it was awarded as the most beautifull city car of the show (considering there was plenty of microcars on that Salon)
Hereīs a pic of the Sport version.

Who said 3 stars is considered safe? although there aren't that many safe cars in its territory, its not really a "safe" car.. You'd die in a larger crash

The most economical car on the market is the Toyota Prius- easily- followed by the Perodua Nippa. The Matiz looks allright- but it is FAR too gutless for my liking

I remember my piano teacher got one of these when they were brand new in Korea, she was really proud of it.. hehe (she then got married to a Californian and they bought a larger car) But anyways, I'd never get a small car like this.. Imagine a front-to-front crash with a 1800kg car, doing 80km/h- and then you're dead in a second.. And btw, never get a Perodua Nippa (nor Kelisa).. Buy a food processor instead.. hehe
