Thumbs up Tray Sliding!

A few of my friends and I went out the other night and did some FF drifting, it's fucking great!

Just in case anyone doesn't know how, You just need.......

1. A jack
2. Coke/Pepsi trays
3. A FF drive car
4. Preferrably an E-Brake
5. Some Shitty tires that you don't give a shit or two about

You take that handy Honda jack(or a jack), jack the rear up; place trays under the rear tires, set the car down; yank the E-Brake up and Go! It's pretty fun, when you have nothing else to do but give your tires hell!

LOL, are you serious? Wanna know a much faster way to do it? Put the trays right behind the rear tires and then back onto them. lol

smoking your front tires is optional

Re: Tray Sliding!

it's the best when the parking lot is wet. I got spinning so fast once, my friend had to get out to puke. Lots of fun

I guess that way would be faster....if you could back up onto the pepsi/coke trays. They hold your wheels in good, but the other trays work too.

Re: Tray Sliding!

I can't believe some of you are just finding out about this. We used to do this all the time. It is a lot fun though. For some videos check out VTECAtlanta.com

I used to do that, but those trays suck. So we went to a gas station and stole all their coke crates! I still have like 8 or 9 just chillin in my backyard.

then I'm sure you'll like the next one even more. It's going to be bigger and much better. 15+ 13 second cars, lots of tray slides and stupid shit like that.

and yeah, mcdonalds tray do suck, they burn out too easily.

Hey Kicker, I'mma call you Teckademics Jr. from now on. LOL!

Anywho, I can do REAL (as close to real) FF drifting, no additional aids needed. With the proper suspension setup (as stiff of a rear as possible) and the right weight transfer technique, rear wheels slides can be achieved in an FF type car you don't even have to yank on the E to do it. When I auto-X my car, the rear end can get pretty twitchy at times, and if I take a turn just right on the course, then I can bust some pretty sweet slide ride action with the rears.
