interior lights will not SHUT OFF - HELP ME!

Well, today i was installing the speakers for my truck.. We got the back ones in but the POWER WINDOWS/MIRROR/LOCK buttons WOULD NOT UNPLUG!!! i dont know WHY!! i got the POWER MIRROR WIRE PLUG OUT BUT I LOST THE SPRING AND IT DOES NOT WORK.. WOULD THAT NOT WORKING MAKE IT SO MY INTERIOR LIGHTS WONT GO OFF? THEY WONT GO OFF, IT BUZZES WHENEVER THE KEYS ARE IN IT, AS THOUGH A DOOR IS OPEN.. WHEN ITS NOT. WHAT would be the REASON FOR the interior lights not shutting off.. and it thinking the DOOR IS OPEN?? Could it be the broken power mirror button??? I jus disconnected the fuse in the meantime.. heeellllpppp meeee!! any suggestions?

interior lights will not shut off

I recently had the same problem. I took it to an electronic specialists and felt like such an idiot when I went to pick it back up. My hatch was not closed properly. The gate was closed but not the hatch. I haven't had the problem since.

I have the same problem after installing speakers in the front and back doors. I just checked my hatch and all door latches but I still have the porblem of the interior lights not going off.

Hmmm. I'll try taking the door moldings off again and check to see if there is anything causing the circuit to be engaged
