L7s pop?

I was wondering if anyone has heard that L7s can pop easily. Obviously, under the wrong conditions any sub will blow. I put one in today and its only powered by a zapco 350 which is a good deal below RMS, so should I be ok?

Re: L7s pop?

I'm just a bit confused why you picked an L7 with a zapco.

I'm not planning on entering any competitions or anything, its just to listen to. And besides I got it for a good deal. I'm not really into car audio, but if I ever did want to match it up, what would be a good SQ sub for that amp?

Re: L7s pop?

as long as the amp is set correctly, the sub should not blow.
