Pathfinder Engine in Xterra
I have found a Pathfinder V6 engine from a crashed 2002 vehicle. I can get it for about 1000k and it still runs. The vehicle had 22,000 miles when the woman decided to show the skies its belly.
The seller started the engine in the scrap yard (still in the smashed vehicle) and it started right up and felt good. What do you guys say, should I go for it. I own a 2003, SE 4 x 4, V6. Will the dam thing fit, will it twist my transmission all up? Pavan |

It requires modifications to the engine comparment, frame, and front suspension, but it can be done. You would also need a Pathfinder transmission and transfer case, since the VQ engine won't match up to the ones you have. More work and money than it's worth.
