Money to Spend

I have a 99' Civic EX and I was wondering which of these you's guys/gals would choose from.

P.S. Just in case one of you say "Just save the money for an engine swap".... Don't because I'm getting a b18c1 as a graduation present from my Mom and Dad/Uncle/Grandparents.

P.S. 2 The Skunk2 F/R Tower Bar Package is actually $275

Sorry to not answer your question, but it would all depend on what else has been modded already. But for the sake of argument, out of those three options, I would get the Type R headlights and PIAA bulbs.

Re: Money to Spend

I'm curious, what is the difference between the Civic Type R headlights and stock ones?

I think you'd enjoy HID far more than PIAA bulbs, unfortunately, you may end up spending all your money on a good HID kit.

They're black chrome, and they also have day time running lights... as most JDM cars do.

As for the smiley faces... I dont know.. I was wondering the same thing. They havent been working ever since I came back.

Re: Money to Spend

I'd go with the carbon fiber hood - shave weight any chance you get no matter how little it is.

Re: Money to Spend

You can DIY for the headlights and than just install HID. IMO that would look bad ass. There is a tutorial around here somewhere about opening your headlamp housing up and repainting the inside.

If you're worried about ruining your headlamp housing, see if you can buy some used ones from a junkyard or something and modify those.
