Re: where was your oil leak coming form and what was the cost to fix it???

check your valve covers, especially the bolts near the firewall they could be loose. I had an oil leak when I just put together my newly rebuilt v6. Took it in for a quick oil change and they told me my rear main seal was leaking on my engine. I told the co. that this was impossible cause I just had my engine rebuilt. When I put it up on the hoist, I could tell that the leak was coming from the rear of the valve cover on my passenger side. So I bought a new gasket kit ($12) and that solved the problem. (torque your nuts down)
If its your rear main seal your shit outa luck. Need to pull your engine, and change that seal
