Aem Cai
Ok a few questions about the install. I have heard that you must put the MAF sensor back and let the car idle to allow the car to readjust to the new air flow. I was wondering how this works and what the car is doing? Also if anyone knows anything else you have to do in order for the intake to work smoothly with the car please let me know. Thanks
Oh by the way: all for a 2000 Accord ex |

Re: Aem Cai
After installing the CAI(or any engine mod) you should reset the ecu & let it "re-learn" After resetting the ECU, start the car & let idle for 5 min without touching anything - make sure everything is off.

it'll do it eventually on its own w/ out resetting it, but it'll take a few weeks of driving.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Aem Cai
You wont feel any differences, works more effciently. The fuse only needs to be removed for 15 seconds.
To reset ECU remove the Back-up fuse from the underhood(main) fuse box. |

So is that all you have to do then? Just install your mod then remove the back up ECU fuse for a min or two and then put it back in and start her up. Idle for 15 mins then you are good to go? If that is all let me know, anything else I might need to know? Thanks
