Alright, I'm going to approach all of my haters as a gentleman...

First off, I don't know everything about cars - (especially Miatas - some of you already know that - I don't care for Miatas at all - not knocking anyone's opinion - when I did, I apologize to any Miata fans out there who I may have offended - if you like them, fine - it's easy to get defensive/offensive when someone else knocks your opinions), but nor did I ever claim to know everything about cars. I only recently got into imports (specifically and predominantly Hondas and Acuras) after my 1996 Buick Regal (aka the granny-mobile) started giving me more problems then I cared to have, and the problems were mostly only addressable by GM dealerships who were staffed with morons and incompetent mechanics - I then managed to get it paid off, and I went out and bought me a 2000 Civic EX with a salvaged title (that was an Si until it got stolen and stripped of it's engine, rims, interior, and front bumper - hence the salvaged title - but I only paid $7,500 for it and it only had 23,000 miles on it - that's a hell of a deal where I live) The very first post I ever made (I think) was in the thread called "Can someone please rate my exterior" - it was when I suggested to the person who started that thread he could further alter the looks of his exterior by adding a dome vent to the roof of his car. As soon as some of you read that SUGGESTION, you started insulting me, calling me a retarded noob and a few other things - those of you that did start doing that, you gotta admit, it was pretty damn childish, but it was also childish of me to retaliate and lower myself to your level (at the time)...

Now if you want to continue to flame me, go ahead, but you are just gonna make people that are curious about learning about, or picking up new ideas for their cars enjoy these forums less. People (a lot of them anyways) are just gonna be less interested in posting their ideas and knowledge if they think it's just gonna get criticized.

Ok, gentleman, first of all this is NOT the right place for a post like this. The whole problem came up when you started talking like God of the Honda and being a disrespectful ass, which I see by the end of your post you haven't changed much. In fact, I am curious why you wasted the time to make a post like this simply to end it with a friendly kick in the balls, I'm better than you ending such as you have done here.

Well I think he has a point, while many people do post with easily answered ?'s or something outrageously ignorant pertaining to cars, the "vets" all seem to feel like they have to flame the the person. Almost every teacher will tell you there is no such thing as a stupid question and I sort of believe that too.


I read that "can you rate..." post and all the guy said was he could add a roof scoop, ok so what if it is not "functional" or might not be to many peoples liking, it was a suggestion but is that a reason to berate they guy? So in that sense he did "lower himself" to the level of those that were calling him out. Now he is trying to apoplogize, albeit in a condescending tone, I just think that people come here to get feedback, inquire. and learn and it is childish for people to argue over what essentially is one's own taste.

The whole vent roof dome thing you were talking about in that other thread... I told you to back up what you were talking about, but you didnt. So you left alot of room for flaming. I told you to give info about it... told you a situtation I was in that was just like yours, and what I did to earn everyones respect... but you still didnt and decided to fight and argue with everyone. Whatever.
