5.3 Manual trans
I'm trying to mount a 5.3 engine from a 2000 Surburban donor vehicle on a dyno (long story) and need to put a flywheel on it. The Chev dealer has not been a lot of help. I assumed the 5.3 was offered in a truck with manual trans. Am I right?

i recently looked at a 2004 gmc sierra dealership catalog and the only engine that didn't have the option for a manual trans is the 5.3 liter. now im not sure if that is just for 2004 or what. if a dealership was no help on finding one they probably dont make it for a 5.3 liter.
