need help asap thanks

I was wondering if anybody in the chicago land area can help me out. I have a 91 honda civic si and the car does not want to start. I have checked the battery and alternator and they are both fine. And i need to get the car running asap. If anybody can help me out please give me a call at 773-615-5376 and ask for alex thanks.

also, is it just cranking over but not starting? then it could be a few different things, one thing u can try is take off ur air intake and spray quick start into the throttle body and see if it starts that way, if it does it could be a fuel problem, if it doesnt its a spark problem, in which case it could be the coil, distributor cap, rotor, wires, or plugs, which can be expensive if you replace them all at once, or u could have a bad ground wire as well, i believe if one or 2 are bad then the car will either run like shit or not run at all

If the car is cranking over, turn the ignition on(no start) & listen for the fuel pump, should cycle on for 5 seconds. No fuel pump heard, replace the main relay. It could even be an ignition problem.
Check the basic's & start from there - Spark -- Fuel

Let me know if you got it started I might be able to come down to the city and try and help you out tommorow. I also have a spare main relay and starter if your going to need either of them. Had the car been starting and running fine. I also can get you a distributor if need be.

Sorry I'm just getting back to you some idiot tried hooking up his own cable and disconnected mine so no internet. If your still having probs let me know. Where are you exactly located. If your off tommorow I can come to the city in the morning time and try to help. Oh the names robert.
