Roof Latches

Are the manual roofs held on the same way as the electric roofs, With three handles, one on each side and one at the back that you have to pull down to unlock it. I only have one that I have to move between them So I want to know if the manual roof ones are the same because that would make them alot easier to find

I don't know about non-USDM roofs, but on my USDM manual roof, there are only two latches...one on either side.

yeah there are two latches on the usdm ones. they are in the same spot the "oh shit" handles would be in a regular car.

They were never sold fromt he factory in america with an electric roof. There is a kit you can buy but IMO its not worth it.

I nolonger have an electric roof, ive spent the last month converting it to a manual one. Theres ALOT of wiring for the electric one and all the windows go thru the rear computer (yes theres a separate computer for the roof).

It was a hassle converting it to a manul I cant see how it would be even possible to go the other way.

Also everyperson ive talked to that knows anything about them agrees with me that they are unreliable and a liability and thinks I did the best thing by removing it
