Re: pricing on M4

It should be somewhere around the 50's but expect it to be around 60 + when it first comes out because all the rich old guys will be trying to get one. So if your really interested go to your nearest dealer and get on a waiting list.

The actual existance of a future M4 is hotly debated in most of the other forums I've read. A while back BMW said that they would make a 4-Series as a coupe version of the E90 3-series. The problem is the M car. The M3 name has "street cred" and is already a well established car. To not make the 2-door M car the M3 would be like Chevy making another $50,000 sports car and not name it Corvette, or Porsche making another $70-80,000 sports car and not call it a 911. Some magazines have said that BMW has scrapped the 4-series name, others say they havn't, and finally some have said that the regular coupe will be the 4-series, but the M car will still be called the M3. The only thing we really know is that the engine will be a 400hp V8. Odds are the price will be ~$50,000 US.
