Post D1 DRIFT Decals for PRE-ORDER

Guys, in coordination with Spoolin12, we are doing a pre-order for the Custom decals set for A'PEX D1 PROJECT FD3S replicating on 1/24 kit. It is a new DECAL project we are going to work on.

This is the reference photo:

- We are looking for the number of people will be interested in getting this decal.
- The project will be started once we get enough number of people pre-order it.
- Pricing is not determined yet. But will not be at some pricing which broke you.
- This will be a limited release. First come first served.
- It will take approximately 1 month to get the project finished.
- We have not decided to fit which 1/24 Rx-7 model kit.
- Probably it will fit: Tamiya RX-7 FD3s, Fujimi RX-7 FD3s, and Aoshima.
- All FD3S kits need custom modification to replicate the Apex 1:1, or on your favour.
- CF hood decal of the APEX will not be included. However, the tuner decals on the CF hood will be replicated.
- Rx-7 kits, GT wing, rims, parts etc. can be ordered along with the decals.

Just a quick note, we (me and someone on AF) already finished our first full set of racing decals for "secret car" at this moment. Two weeks later, the project of our 1st racing decal will be announced and shown on AF by the "someone".

Please PM me for details if you have enquiries. We will keep updating this post to see the progress.

Thanks to:
Spoolin12 <= brilliant, creative, great wise guy, never disappoint me.

We appreciate if you could submit more reference photos for this project. Looking forward to hear from all of you.

Regards,
Joe

Re: D1 DRIFT Decals for PRE-ORDER

There's a nice close-up of the FD here

I am interested. Tell me, how strong are the decals? I haven't seen anyone make really sturdy decals like the companies. The one's I have had experience with tear way too easy and are most of the time a pain in the @ss. With this big of a design I hope they hold up.

Hey Shorty, hmmmm, the GT wing I am selling is just the Aoshima GT wing or the FRP Wing. I could try to replicate the wing using styrene. However, I think most of the people here have better skills than me.

Wow that's a pretty ambitious project. I wish this had come up a month ago, since I am building an RX-7 inspired by this, but with Cusco decals, and if everything goes right it will be done before these decals are available. Damn. I think I like that freedom, though, so I don't have to replicate a car perfectly. I don't think I have that skill yet, not like FOTW or Subway or Hiroboy.... But anyone interested in building this car might want to watch my build-up since I am taking a lot of technical and design cues from it. But then, a lot of people here have a lot more talent, so maybe they'll watch me and just laugh...

Thats the plan, but also hope to do all accompanying parts too i.e decals, wings etc. Toyota Soarer and RS-R 350Z are a couple of other possibilities i'm keen to do, the bodykit for the later is already done of course.

A Soarer kit would be great, you can get a supra engine for it and now, with one of your creations it will be another complete car w/ engine detail. I'll buy it & the RX-7 when they're ready. Do you plan on making hoods for them also?

I know I personally have been waiting semi-patiently to hear more about your S15 kit you mentioned sometime ago also.
