Smile my impulse buy

well unfortunately when i was down at my BLHS buying i spotted in there $2 bin (got good buys in that sometimes, like kits with the wheels missing, no problem i was changing them anyway ). i spotted on of my all time dreams cars a datto fairlady Z (i think its a 280Z), in 1/38th scale and featuring a soopa doopa windup motor. i go it home, and cracked it open to find it has the worst molding ive ever seen. some parts are more flash than parts. AND, the roof has 4 sink marks about 1/8th" deep. oh well, what do i expect for 2 bucks. now ive challenged myself to make it look half decent outside, cant do anythign with the inside, its has pretty much no detail because of the wind up motor. wish me luck
