Does that Sprial Max thing really work?

Most likely you all will tell me I'm an idiot for even considering this, but I was wondering if that Sprial Max thing has any effect and actually give your horse power and better mpg. Visit www.spiralmax.com if you want to find out what it is. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone had tried it and how it worked. Thanks

The answer is NO! If anything, it restricts your airflow and REDUCES power.
The concept behind it is that if you swirl the air while it is going into the intake, it will mix with the gas better. Not necessarily true, especially if you consider that this thing goes quite far before your injectors. By the time the air gets to the injectors, it's probably lost its turbulance anyways. Don't waste your money.

yea, what QuakeWork120 said.

if you want to get the spiral effect (good idea, bad execution) you would have to get the valves themselves spiraled (chevy vortech anyone?) which is actually pretty effective

but like all pretty effective things...its pretty expensive
