Just bought a 97 Civic EX
I just purchased a 97 Honda Civic EX. It's a VTEC, but it's only SOHC
. I want to fix it up, but have just started getting into the car scenario and know little about this right now. The car will basically be an everyday road car, but I want to be able to beat those guys who come revving up to the light thinking their all bad ass. Any tips will help, thanks.

Re: Just bought a 97 Civic EX
umm first do some research swaps arre common and are getting easier to do i suggest that you swap a b18c1 into it that is a integra gsr motor DOHC vtec that is a good staarting point and then you could turbo it for real power but that is just the beginning

Yeah, poor old SOHC motors. Wish they could put out some power.
