Unhappy Denali 2002 Looses Power with Gas petal

I have a new denali 2002 with 17K miles on it. Something really weird happens - only occasional tims - when you press on the gas petal the Denali actually seems to loose 50% of the acceleration then the egine light comes stating check engine. This light stay on for 1-2 minutes then goes off.

Then next time when starting the Denali it is fine and has plently of power.

Any ideas??

Get the computer scanned. Once you have the code(s), it will help determine what the problem is.

Good Luck,

Yep, I would be willing to bet it is a computer issue. Especially if it only has 17k miles.
