99 Tahoe issues
I have just purchased a 99 Tahoe and already have 3 issues.
First, The Brake light bar at the top does not light, the two side brake lights work. Second, I have heated seats and the driver side seat stopped working, I have been able to check to make sure it is getting power but that is as far as I have gotten. Third, as previously listed in some other posts, my keyless remote just stopped working. I recently changed the battery so I know that is not it. In the other posts they gave directions on how to program it but what is the data link connector

the DLC connector is rite below the dash on the driver side. it looks like a computer connector,but i would try resynching your remote by pressing the lock and unlock buttons for like 30 sec's untill the door locks cycle (lock and unlock)
