Whenever I'm curious about a car's weight, I go to www.nada.com
that's the page of n.a.d.a guides, for finding car values.

I looked up 81 olds supreme, then had to choose diesel engine. It gave the value (low, average and high retail), then when you scroll down a little it has the weight of the car under other vehicle information.

Your car is 3,137 from the factory.

You wouldn't believe the amount of cars that are listed on the site.
I actually had to go to the classic car section since they only went back to like 1985 in the regular used car section.

Re: Cutlass Weight?????

By the way, you can only look up 5 cars a day.

if you check more than 5, it will suggest you come back tomorrow, or sign up for their pay service.

Re: Cutlass Weight?????

That web site is amazingly inaccurate. I know for a fact my 86 Cutlass is not 3180 pounds. Try more in the 3700-4000 range.

Re: Cutlass Weight?????

holy crap, I didn't know those things were that heavy! I have a 53 buick special, that i know from factory literature is 3670 and the nada site was accurate as far as that was concerned. I guess it's hit and miss with that site.
