Help me choose

Hello AF Modelers,

My real car is a Toyota Corolla E12 (European version) aka. Allex/RunX in Japan.

I'm quite sad to see that no manufacturer has made the scale car of it even considering it's one of the most sold cars in the world. Ok, maybe it's not as popular as a Toyota Celica but it is definately more popular than a Citröen 15CV (Heller) or a Fiat 500D (Gunze Sangyo) or a Suzuki Jimny (Fujimi). So why no manufacturer has even planned it, no idea.

So, now i'm left with the decision of building any other scale model and need help making up my mind.

I like difficult challenges and although i'm quite new to scale models (only 3 so far) i i'm looking for the most detailed possible scale car 1/24 or 1/25.

It should be a car with tuning style. Not neccesarily a Fast & Furious car but something like nissan, mazdas, hondas or toyotas. Well if there is any other non-japanese make with interesting details i would consider it.

Remember challenging, detailed and if possible rare (exotic).
Thx for any sugggestions.

Rally cars, though curbside, would be a could choice. They are very detailed models. They have a full interior, and are far more complex inside than are most race cars and street cars. The bodies are often complex and detailed, with spoilers, antennas, cameras, body kits, lights and all sorts of other stuff. And of course, the decals are very complex and challenging. There are many rally kits out there, and with a little bias I would say Tamiyas are the best. If you really want to do something tough, do a little research and find one that you can add a transkit or a few to; you could open the hood and add an engine, or open doors, or do a different livery. These are a boon for iterations and challenge.

Re: Help me choose

The tamiya Ferrari Enzo is really challenging. If you want small "hard to paint" pieces, lots of difficult masking and a beautiful and exotic car then this is the kit for you. It's a great kit.

Thank you very much.
At least now i know what to look for. I'll check what's available in my area.
Any recommendations for online purchase in Europe?
