How do you remove the interrior dome plastic light cap in an 03' Chevy Cav?
I bought blue light sleves for my dome lights instead of buying new bulbs an I was trying to remove the plastic cap but when i tried it just wont come off. There is a slit in it about the size of a penny and I was told by a friend that you can just use a screwdriver to pry it off. But it seems like the release mechanism is a little more complex than that and this topic is not covered in the instruction manual for the car.

Try pushing forward when you pry with the screwdriver. Be carefull though. Good luck
