Dodge Viper SRT-10 and the Chevy Corvette C6.

What I am comparing with this thread is looks. Take a look at these two pictures and tell me what you think.







The new C6 looks very similar to the SRT-10 a lot of ways. I also hear that it won't be the 500HP Vette we were told about, instead it is still 405HP?

Wow! It does look a lot like the new Viper don't it?! Anyways, the Normal C6 will have the 400+ HP engine. It's the C6 ZO6 thats rumored around 500 HP. That won't be out until later.

The Vette is a Viper/Marcos/Ferrari rip off externally, the Viper looks much better.

The headlights of the C6 do seem quite a bit in similarity to the Viper. Everything else looks as though it was branched off of the C5 with a more 'edgy' look if you ask me. I'm going to have to say the C6 looks better. I just can't get over that 'look its another Chrysler' bumper look of the Viper. Not to be picky, its just what I think.

I first saw the pics of the C6 in this month's evo.. i was pretty appalled. the new front lights are ugly and the shape of the entire car has taken a big step back from its predecessor. Then again im not a huge fan of the srt10's looks so it's about which one i dislike less.. which is the viper, at least it has a lot of aggression, which the C6 lacks

well the headlights, the shape of the hood, the vents that run along side the cars, even the freakin side view mirrors all look similar. the headlights also resemble the ferrari 360 modena.no doubt the new vette looks good, but c'mon chevy, you can do better than that, can't you?

The C6 may have a few features like the Viper, but its still not in its league.

IMO the C6 its an iprovement over the C5 as looks go and if i would have 50K i might buy one...but if i would have 80 i wold take the viper without a doubt...

The viper looks much better in my eyes and its has a very muscular stance which is very apropriate for a true american exotic

i say they do look alike, but i agree kurtdg19 in saying that the c6 is branched off of the c5, jus with edgier looks. it jus so happens that an edgier c5 looks like a viper. but if u look at the two, u can still tell which is a viper and which is a corvette. the viper has the muscuar look like always and the corvette has the sleek look like always.

The C-6 is definatley more technologically advanced then the C5, but i still like the C-5 Styling over ANY generation Corvette. The C-6 is a little too edgy for me. And i really dont like the Viper either. So IMO, both are mediocore.

Viper looks better...the current C6 will have 400hp...the ZO6 comes out in one year...so long live the Viper!
