Re: My E36 BMW's

cool, but the flank of your red one isn't too realistich. Imho you should paint the door handles, or at least add some panel lines. For the rest, good job!

thanks, the red car is made to look like my 92 325i which had body colored moldings and door handles. I'm still practicing applying panel lines and i dont wanna screw up the finish on it yet...lol =)

You need to paint the window trims. And possibly try to add some more realistic detail.

I have the Revell E36 Compact, but I haven't started with it yet.

Re: My E36 BMW's

I was going to ask you, how is the quality of the Dragon kit? You don't have a write a big review, but just kind of a brief overveiw of the kit. Thanks

weaponCIVIC: If it isn't too much trouble, think you can post some pics of your dad's Dinan E46? Also, do you have MSN?

Basically, my dragon kit came together perfectly. All the parts fit well, and line up. When built box stock and un-lowered, the wheels sit perfectly, not too high and tucked into the fenders. The body is well detailed and the proportions are right. Also, the side moldings on the doors are molded separately. My kit came pre-painted with all the details like headlights and grilled already detailed. Also, it came with carpet.

Oh yeah, here are pics of my bmw's
My E36 which was totalled in 1999 by some dumb lady:

My new E46, just dropped so far but lots of things coming to it:

Hey Ziggy, I am interested in knowing if that Hasegawa 320i is undersized. I have one, and when I put it next to my 1/24 cars, is looks totally out of place! It gets dwarfed by the others...

clem..

i dont think the Hasegawa 320i is undersized. When its next to the revell and dragon kits, its the same size and length. A full size E36 3 series is a smaller car in comparison to other cars like it, ie: honda accords, c and e class benzes, etc.....

Re: My E36 BMW's

Sorry to hear your beautiful E36 was totalled.

I personally like the E46 better though. Did you buy the E46 brand new? You should really think about getting some nice mods like you said, but keep the outside basically stock. Do you have MSN?
Also, if you aren't already posting at www.bimmerfourms.com there are some very nice poeple that'll help tons with your car.
