Drivetrain Layout Question:Basic
Hey, I don't know much about the 3000GT at all. I was just wondering how the AWD drivetrain is laid out. Is the motor mounted longitudinally like in a rear wheel drive car or is it transverse like in a front driver. And, how does it transmit power to the front and back differentials. Thanks
Matt

Its setup like a FWD car that has AWD as an afterthought. Its very close to a GSX or GVR4.

Thanks for your reply talskinyguy. My next question is:
Is there a differential between the front and rear? Or, how does the power get split between front and rear? Viscous coupling or something like that? Matt
