Saw the C6 in person at the LA auto show today: Impressions

Overall I love the new C6, the first thought that came to mind when i saw it in person was "wow it just seems... smaller" which isnt a bad thing The orange color they had was not to my liking it seemed like rotten orange. but anywho here is the things i liked.

1. Cool New door opener, its not a handle like you would think, its a sensor that unlatches the door when it is touched.

2. The overall clean looking interior (the steering wheel is growing on me)

3. Fixed Headlights

4. New HUD

Cant wait for the Z06 and the rumored "Super Vette"


Conclusion: Ill take one on black please.

I heard that the fast c6 is going to come out in 2006 and its not going to be called a Z06. Instead called a Grand Sport, just like in 1996 they made the Grand Sport for that one year. Exactly 10 years later with another Grand Sport would make sense. It is supposed to have 500hp, however i don't know if they are going to have to same paint jobs as what the 1996 GS's did. I hope so, i will be all over that car like a fat man at a buffet bar.

when i was talking to a lady who was awnsering questions about the cien (which was beautiful) i asked will they build it she said no, then i said they have to build something like it and she said well
they are working on something called the blue devil corvette which will have similar specs and i said ohh didnt they build a new plant to build there engines and she shook her head and said YES they're building it

More like Ferrari-ish if you ask me. Then again like I posted in one of the 100 or so C6 threads, Ferrari's & Vette's have always had similar body lines. Great example - Victory by Design(ferrari) on Speed or DVD available. - that guy has one bad ass job. Beating the shit out of unreplaceable older ferrari's and other makes(porsche episode was bad ass as well)

actually the C6 does kinda look like a Viper but it's a pretty nice C6 Vette.
