My 79 Play Car - cherry bomb?

Hello guys,

My 79 Bone is my play car. It will be going to the paint shop for a nice metalic deep blue pain job, the body work is near complete. I am getting some nice silver wheels, nothing expensive, just clean looking. I am also looking at getting.........yes I will say it.......a cherry bomb mufler.

What do you think? I am looking for something that will give the car a better, more throaty sound. Will the single cherry bomb do it. Now please know I do not care if it is loud, but I don't want it to be harsh. I live in a asemi-rural area, so sound is no big deal, plus, it is not my everyday ride.

I need advice on :

1. Do i cut off the cat?

2. What is your honest opinion on the cherry muffler, knowing his is a "fun project" car, not my everyday auto.
