A few months ago on the old PH you posted some links of German sites where you can search for used cars. I lost the links, if you can remember them could you post them again?
thanks.

Of course I remember them. I try to find a good ITR in them every day! (In the moment I wished to be a VW fan cause there are millions of them in there!! )
The links are: www.mobile.de
www.autoscout24.de
www.faircar.de

ah thanks!
The same thing over here, for every VT, ESi, VTi you find there are like 25 Golf's GTi or something, to find a good ITR must be even harder.
Many Civic Vtec's in Holland are imported from Germany so I might as well search in Germany for a good car, so thanks again for the links!

Actually it´s the other way around. It´s easier to find an ITR with less kilometers than a Civic VTi hatch with less kilometers! But I haven´t bought one of these ITRs yet because most of them are modified without knowing how to do it right so I´m going to wait till I´ve found a nearly new stock one!! But there are a lot of Civic sedans with the 1.8l DOHC VTEC engine with about 169hp.

Call me crazy but I'm looking for another 4th gen hatch
a VT, 150hp B16. I'm looking for one with a mint body, no rust etc.
I found 2 of them so they are pretty rare in Germany as well.
If I find one I'm going to have the engine "repaired" don't know the english word, but they make it like new. I think you know what I mean I'm willing to spend some cash on that.
I've always wanted that car and after owning 2 4thgens I'm ready for my 3rd, the ultimate
But it's going to take some months before I get one, I'm just looking around.

Nope, I won´t call you crazy! There is a german shop who would take the old engine out and put a modified one in it again in exchange. After this swap it would be a 1,9l VTEC with 199hp and a torque of 199. But it would cost about 5.000,-Euros. How does that sound? The shop is called Völkl-Motorsport and the link is in our list.

Hehe, I actually thought about a swap but I'd miss al the nice goodies the VT has, like power mirrors, windows, roof, the different front-end and more. And offcourse, very important the 4 brake discs. the VT is bassicly a whole different car.

Okay, again. About which Civic are we talking? Do you mean the EE8?

It's the EE9, the EE8 is the 88-92 CRX VT, EE9 is the hatch.
It's eassier to get a EE8, I like them as well but I want a hatch.:frog:

Sorry, that was my fault! I was talking about the same car. I just mixed up the numbers! So what do you think of an EE9 with 1,9l VTEC and 199hp?

hehe I'd love that! but one step at a time..I'm driving around with 90horses for the past 1,5 year so 150hp will be a big step for me, but who knows, maybe in the future when I have a B16A and I think 150hp isn't enough to move 1000kg and I have the cash, hmm how nice that would be...ah well everyone has their dreams, and that's all it is (for now )

Yea, you´re right! 150 VTEC hp will already be damn good on a lightweight Civic. I wouldn´t do it, too. It was just an idea...
