Rear rattle sound... PLEASE HELP!!! Maxima 2k
Hi,
I have Maxima 2k 67000miles When I'm driving, I'm hearing some rumbling sound coming from the rear (left side I think). It's hard to explain it.. it's like a rattle sound.... is that a shock absorber? or hmm.. any ideas??? Thanks Jack |

Sounds like a strut to me..But it could be one of the bushings in the rear suspension arm too, they have a tendancy to go. But you usually get warning noises, squeeks with those. Struts on the other hand don't give much warning. See if the rubber boot is torn on your struts in the rear, if so they may be worn and just floppin around in your springs.
