Bmw 735 1988 Fan Motor

The A/C is working, but the fan motor is not comming on. Any advice on how to diagnose and fix the problem. Every once and a while the fan will come on and appear to be working fine.

Under the dash inside the glovebox

there is a silver relay that switches the blower motors.

Check it out.
