Re: Tornado Fuel Saver? Does it work???
Questions such as this are relative. The Tornado adds swirl to the airflow, which enhances cylinder filling. The performance of the Tornado, therefore, depends on how well the air flows into the engine now. A restrictive system typically responds better than a free-flowing system. The answer, therefore, is a definite maybe. Ray

Re: Tornado Fuel Saver? Does it work???
Think about how the air gets into your engine. If it is carburated then the swirling air would strike the throttle butterfly and would not be swirling anymore. No matter what type of engine you have the air needs to go over the intake valves to get into the combustion chamber which will break up any swirling motion.I think you would prob get more of a gain in HP out of keeping your vehicle tuned up.

There is a good way to feel a big difference, it is to use a K&N air filter +the tornado+ . If you do this, you will feel the difference!!! Optional: If you fill fuel tank with 92 or 94 Octane and you add some octane booster, you are set! |
