Mazda 6 Quality?

Looking to purchase a Mazda 6S but am not sure of Mazda quality. I have been trying to find out from other Mazda 6 owners if they have experienced any major problems with their cars. Not sure about reliability and longevity of the mazda engines too. Any info would be helpful...also if anyone knows of any Mazda 6 sites please let me know. Thanks!

I bought the new 6 last month on March first.....it has been in the shop now 5 time for the same reason. when you turn the steering wheel the cars front squeals!!!! I have found out mine is one of about a dozen so far that have been reported to do this also a secretary let is slip they are having problems on the 6 with shimmy problems....so my vote don't buy it!!!! Looks great but iti si an over priced piece of junk

I also have a 2003 Mazda 6. It does look great, but I really wouldn't recommend buying one. Go with an Acura RSX or something. Even the Mazda 3 drives and handles a little better than the 6, but you still have to deal with Mazda. My car was back for several things also. Same problems as you read in your other thread.... going on trip # 6 to the shop next week. Just got it back from trip 5 today. Good luck deciding. Well............ maybe when they get all of the kinks worked out. It is a new model. In a year or two they will have a better quality 6 if it sticks around.
