i went to www.exploitedracing.com and was looking at the turbo set-ups that they have for the 2.4L engine. I have a 98 sunfire gt and was looking at the stage 1 turbo kit, that includes a T3 super 60 turbocharger, turbo manifold, charge pipes, K&N filter, exhaust downpipe, water replacement hose, oil feed & return lines, silicon hoses, t-bolt hose clamps, turboxs blow off valve, all needed hardware.
I was wondering if i would need to do anything else to my car as far as internals or anything else to keep from ruining the engine or tranny on it or if I would be ok to just put this basic turbo on it without worries. i looked a little bit and it's only putting out around 6psi. anyone know what kind of hp gains i could be looking at too? Thanks for any information you provide. |

Re: turbo...anything else needed
Just to let you know.... there has been many complaints about products from Exploited Racing... I've never dealt with them myself but there is a large number who have and have complained... goto http://www.j-body.org and type in Exploited Racing under a performance search..
