Hey everyone. For those who are tuned into the Fujimi Drift Machine, no I haven't given up, just want the next post to be the completed car.
I want to know who makes a good rubbing compound? I have no access to tamiya (hlj seems to take forever), and my LHS doesn't sell it. So what good company should I look for, and where could I purchase it? Thanks.

Re: Re: Rubbing Compound?
Hey 1ofaknd. How good is the 3M? I heard it eats through some paints. Seeing as I could go pick up a bottle of 3M, I already have Turtle wax, and meguairs, both work great, just wondering if you've ever had bad reactions with them.

Re: Rubbing Compound?
i use the 3M stuff. The only thing i dont like about it is you have to rub it off hard, and if you dont get it out of the cracks (IE between the side trim on my BMW), it turns the paint flat. Also if you put it in direct light it will "engrave" the swirl marks right in the paint. BTW you can get it at wal mart

Re: Re: Rubbing Compound?
sweeet. sounds like it'll need some tuff work, but I don't plan to put it in the sun and use it, just while its in the house.
