I have a 2003 expedition and it has the automatic lights. They work well at the night time, but on bad weather days, if it isn't dark they don't come on, also at dusk/dawn they turn on and off as I drive through the woods and I wish they would come on and stay on. I would like the automatic lights to act more like DRL. I was wondering if there is a way to fool the light sensor into thinking it was always dark?? If so, how, if not, is there a way to 'convert' the automatic lights into DRL.

Re: automatic lights
Yes, buy the DRL module from Ford. Not sure if it's that easy in the states. I believe that Canada requires DRL on all of their cars. Check with your friendly Ford Dealer's parts dept.

Re: automatic lights
i believe there is a sensor button on your rearview mirror i believe all the way to the right the lights come on more often and all the way to the left they come on less frequently??? that may be the other way around.

Re: automatic lights
there is a on and off button on the rear view mirror the options are off or auto, when its on there should be a green light that turns on.
