So nice....

Tonight (last nite...i ain sleep yet) was a relatively slow night for me I was bored up untill about 11:30pm when one of my boys called me and was like if I wanna go down on bay street and look for some races...normally we dont do this but hey...we were REALLY bored...he came for me and we went to get some gas...after that we called up one of our other friends who has an evolution and told him to meet us in this clubs parking lot...5 minutes later we hear this roaring sound coming down the parking lot setting off about 4 different car alarms...its ron...with his cat out...we talk for about 10 minutes then my boy gets in his lude and I get in the evo with ron and we we're ready for anyone at that point...
The first car to try and pass us in the evolution was a maxima with about 5 people in it we catch up to it VERY quickly and everyone in the cars starts freaking out because we caught them up so fast when they thought they we're speeding...of course we tell them that its stock and ask if they wana run up at the next light...the driver doesn't really bite because of all the people in the car (i guess) but they continue speeding and we pass them and move on the next car ...a sentra ...(wats with the nissans all of a sudden) and neeless to say we killed them...we were looking around for this guy with a mustang basically all night but couldnt find him...we did about 3 laps around shirley street and bay street until both cars were low on gas...good times...

Cant wait till im in rolling right along with those guys...JUNE!!!...LoL

Re: So nice....

Catching races late night for fun, huh? Sounds fun I guess...dont know how easy it is to get somebody in the US to race, well...I guess young people (16-24) are easy to get them racing..ill hopefully be studying in the US next year...

Re: So nice....

I dont live in the US I live in the Bahamas (nassau) and its kinda easy to find races cuz people are generally cool with just driving fast for a bit...it never really gets that serious and its all in good fun...i dont have a car neither licence right now but i drive my moms 99 corolla and im almost always out just looking for races...we mostly just drive slow and wait for some speed demon to try and pass us

I used to have a hell of a time finding races when I was in Kentucky. It always seemed that when I was looking for them there was no one out, and when I wasnt looking I would get challenged by everyone with a loud exhaust. Got really anoying. Havn't seen anything here since I moved to Cali. Kinda dissapointing, but it is winter here, guess everyone is doing what I'm doing and spending the winter re-working their cars. Don't even see anyone downtown on saturday nights anymore.

yo, i dont mean to steal your thread, but i was wonderin, where in the Nassau are you from? My dad lives there with his wife and 3 kids, and my younger brother knows just about everyone on the island (or atleast most people know of him). i was down there this summer, and i wanted to go to race night and see the skyline, but i didnt get a chance to go there. my brother did take me to go see the lamborghini diablo that someone is selling for 150k with no motor. well, anyhow, get back at me.

Nobody even really revs on me, unless theyre in the oncoming lane or my cars parked outside and Im only barely close enough to hear the rev(maybe Im on the wrong side of town). Theyll be next to me and then just floor it. I know some people just drive fast, but I can usually tell the difference. Oh well... my time will come.

even if somebody revs at me...i wouldnt race em, even if i know i can take em (what can a stock civic take anyway? ). id rather do it on the track. its not worth the risk getting pulled over by the cops.
