I did have the xtreme whites, but one burned out. I want to try something new. I've seen them, they look real sharp.

Dont wanta go with HID? If you burn out a pair of 60 bucks bulb a year, in 6-7 years you spent 4-500 bucks...same as going with a pair of Real HID and last your the same time

look at this http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t15389.html

email me if you need to get it [email protected]

thought about it... but the aftermarket hid kits still don't look like the vivid lighting that the bmw portray's. Thats the look I want

anyways, when I am replacing the bulb, let me know if I can touch each of the following

1. Black (I assume its ok because thats the only way I can pull out the bulb
2. Green (shoud I avoid touching it)
3. Red (don't even go up there)

am I correct?

I hope that my pictures show better because that if you want something like the BMW's light or better than that, the Hella HID kit is your choice...they are the first one out with the7000k color, it is much whiter than ANY HID on the road...if you come to bay area where i live, email me i can show you

but on replacing the bulbs, you just need to disconnect the connector...then remove the metal holder, than take out the bulbs, replace and do the reverse

yeah I know. But the beemers have more of a blue shade of light. I don't want it bright white.

Get those. I have the same thing too. They look very nice in the headlamp. They are a little dim on the strett but they go well with the car. I paid like 80$ for mine, so that is a damn good deal.

For Christmas my family bought me new headlight bulbs, but I'm not so sure that they are
a) what I want
b) even street legal

I want to have fake HID's since the real ones are too $$ for my blood. I like a slightly blue hue...

The bulbs in my hands are Eiko 9004-SW HB-1 65/45W but the "container" even says "off-road use only"...

Does anyone know if I will be okay with these??? I get so confused so easily! Must be the blonde in me...

I have the bluish tint ones and they also say "Not for street use"

I have had absolutely no problems though.

Their dimmer on the street b/c the color of the light is a darker color than white. Now, what do you think would be brighter, a purple-ish blue or a white. I'd say white. LOL. Of course ther're goin to be dimmer on the street unless ther're HID's. LOL
