performance engines?

where can i find performance engines for imports like toyotas or nissans and such? and i mean really good stuff.

I think the closest thing you will find in the way of a performance engine for a toyota is a Skyline engine on eBay or something if your lucky. I've only heard of one attempt to actually change out the stock Toyota engine with a Skyline engine, but never heard if it was a success or not.

Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 1JZ engine? What I hear is that they are built from the ground up to use a turbo set up. And you can find a lot of them on ebay.
