Tire size help
Hello Everyone!! I'm new to the forum and I'm hoping someone can give me some good advice on tire sizes. I have a 90 Camaro RS w/ 15x8 factory rims. I need to change my tires and would like to get wider ones. The problem is I'm not sure what size. The tires I have are 215/65/15. I called several tire shops for info and they were being very conservative and only suggested the original size.
Any suggestions????? |

i think you might be able to get away with 235 60 15's. they are wider, and i think there about the same height

Re: Tire size help
yuppers, the 235/60's are a great choice. but i have the IROC 16x8 rims, and they are 245/60's. i think your rims are 15x7. im not sure though.

Re: Tire size help
The first thing I did when I got my V6 maro with 15's was get some beefy tires. 235/50's up front and 260/55's in the back.....whow buddy, looked reall good too. Had a slight rake and fat tires. I loved it.
