Re: changinglight bulb that luminates tach in 98 corolla
Hmmm... Sometimes i experience the same problem in my 95 Corolla...
Solution: Firmly slash the dashboard a few times just above the place where the light is missing... It works for me... If that dont work you have to remove the two screws that are placed just outside the clear plastic and above the speedo and tacho... Then you can CAREFULLY! get the tacho/speedo housing out... Take notice of where the difrrent electric cables are mounted on the back side of the housing! Then realese the cables and get the housing out... U now ought to be able to realese some screws on the housing and open it that way... You know ought to see 3-5 little bulbs... And its one of them u have to replace ![]() The bulbs in the housing is the same bulbs as the ones you car have as parking light bulbs... But well... If i was you i would just pray the bash the dash thingie works... Cause if u have to replace a bulb u might also have to get the steering wheel out... And that can be a real nightmare (It was for me at least)... Good luck

Re: changinglight bulb that luminates tach in 98 corolla
I have the same problem with my 98 Corolla.
So, were you able to change the bulbs and make the lights work? Actually, now all of my dash lights are out (I think there are two of them in all). Thanks... |

My Damn Facia Piece Broke Putting The Thing Back Together. There Is No Room Between The Top Of The Dash And The Steering Wheel. And I Was Following The Instructions. I'm Leaving The Cracks In Incase I Have To Replace Any Intrument Bulbs In The Future.
