want to add hp for not a lot of money please help!
i have a 1991 ford ranger 3.0L V6 XLT. I have a few hundred dollars and want to get the most hp for the least amount of money. Any suggestions?

You can: A) Buy a cool air intake system from about $100 on up, or custom fabricate your own for about $30 or less. tho only downfall with making your own is that you'd only get about 8 maybe 10hp. Not that much.
B) Change out your muffler for something like say, a Flowmaster or Dynomax, Gibson, etc. I'm going for a cherry bomb just cuz they're cheap and loud, they dont give a lot of hp, but i dont care about that right now.. Airaid intake - $150 - $259 Or a Performance Mass Airflow Sensor which is about $340, you'd get 10-15hp increase. If you only have a few hundred dollars there's only so much you can get. Go to JCWhitney.com and you can find a lot of things there.
