Angry changing serpentine belt

Can anybody tell me how to change the serpentine belt on my 2001 chevy blazer. It has A/C also. I bought the belt, the guy told me it would take 5 minutes. He was slightly off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's really a 7 minute job. Do you have the belt removal tool???

I assume it is a 4.3 engine. You merely take a 3/8th inch ratchet and insert it in the belt tensioner hole in the tensioner and relieve the tension and slide the old belt off of the idle pulley to the right of the alternator. Remove the belt and reverse the procedure for installation. I have a 2000 blazer and that is the way I did it. There is usually a diagram on the top of the radiator support. The belt is easier to install if you route it on evertthing except for that same idle pully and again relieve the tension and slip over the pully. Remember to remove the ratchet! Good luck.
