99 Maxima Rear Brake Piston

Changed all four pads at 60000. Had problems with one of the rear caliper pistons. Now own the tool to screw them in and out. Left rear pads burned up (cracked) after 300-400 miles. Everything else appears to be fine. That damn piston is not seized but is really hard to screw in or out. Suggestions??
