Just when Im trying to sell the car.

A buddy of mine with a 96 4 door totalled his car by hitting a shit load of deer. I am waiting on his insurance to either total it or fix it. If its totaled hes going to buy the car back and then sell it to me for that price. It has a y8 that has been ran harder than hell but it has 205 or 210psi in each cylinder.
Im going to wait and see if my car sells in the week and if it doesnt, then I am buying that car selling all the shit off of it I can putting his motor in my car and keeping it. (if all goes right)
I went and looked at the mustang that I am going to buy if my car sells. Its an 89 Lx 5.0 with a gt wing. 355 gears, CAI, Subframe connector, 6 point rollcage, holly lower intake manifold and some sort of cam. Its speed density instead of MAF cause the motor is out of an 87. I have to convert that and then I can start making some real numbers. I know its shitty buying a mustang but horsepower is horsepower.
I am really kinda stuck between the two I dont know what I should do I am thinking about keeping the CRX and doing the swap cause that will give me some good numbers. Plus I can sell the shit that come with it and get a cam for it.
Everyone tell me what they would do if they were faced with this situation I am having a hell of a time deciding.

RWD V8 or FWD 4 banger? That would be an easy choice, RWD! It's just too bad mustangs were made by ford.

CRX would be a good 2nd car - RWD is fun as hell in snow/rain/ice unless your trying to get some where on time.

thats the shitty part tho... Mom wont let me get both of them even tho I could easily afford the payment and the extra insurance....shes just weird. but as I said If I can the CRX is gone. But if not its Vtec time...

if you are anticapating your crx being sold then what use would it be to drop the y8. it seems like your really not into it anymore. wait till you get a buyer then get the stang. but make sure that when they swaped out the motors that they dint use a four bannger ecu. i bought a stang and they retards used a 4 bannger ecu with a gt motor. my tps blew out ever 2 months.

No its done right I went and drove it today and got some pics. I will post them after this. It has been converted to MAF with the 89 lx computer. thats the ECU that everyone wants for some reason.
The car is nice it drives good the first thing I will get is a short throw shifter since it has a stock one in it.
As far as the y8 I would like to drop it in and keep the car and not get the mustang but looking at the body of the mustang compared to my CRX. Its a no brainer.

yeah i had a 91 lx with a hurst short shifter. it came with the car. it was ok except for the knob was a handle bar dint like that to much. post the pics. i wanna see
