attessa transmission issue

i want to acquire an attessa sr20det since they have a better turbo, stronger internals, and all that heehaa. also i seem to be able to find them for cheaper than redtops since they are fwd and not as popular as rwd. the thing is im rwd...so what transmission could i use on the attessa for it to work on the 240sx? just a standard sr20det transmission or what are my options here?

Dude Dude! FWD is FWD and RWD is RWD a FWD engine is not meant to be RWD driven! The location of the transmition on a FWD is lateral meaning is from side to side as a comparison to the location of the transmition on a RWD is vertical as in front to back. It will not work at all!!!!

FWD SR and a RWD SR look the same but that is, they just look the same. Mechanically they’re different!

I don’t mean to clown you but pleas open the hood of a civic and LOOK at the location of the Transmition and compare that to your 240 then you will understand how silly your Q is.

Ps: Did you consider the Sentra for the swap?
