what type of exhaust is good for my '91 crx?

I have a 91 crx and i want to put an exhaust on it but i ev seen crx's with loud exhaust's sounds like somthings wrong with the car i want an exhaust thats not realy loud kind of loud for the street but sounds nice thanks if u can help me out.

i have the thermal, its pretty loud, its not ricey at all but it doesent scream, its a nice deep sound, ide reccomend it

i originally was going to post that everyone was going to say thermal. fine its good but, me my self love the apexi muffler with the obx mid pipe and custom resinator. ask big bear.

you could just go to a shop and tell them to put on a 2.5in. pipe with a flowmaster exhaust. It sounds prety good to me, a little ricey, but it still has a dep sound to it.

2.5" is a little big for a mpfi swaped 1.5 IMO. I wouldn't go with anything bigger than 2.25" on a NA setup. It will sound kinda hollow and raspy.

i'm running a custom cat back in order: 2 1/4 all the way
bought 2$ flange, directly welded resonator, DIRECTLY WELDED jaguar "straight through" style muffler(round to fit in exhaust tunnel, a 90* bend.... and another resonator for quietnes, then exits right out with no tip...
this exits BEFORE the rear axle and follows where original was... i have no HUGE UGLY restrictive muffler in the back... and i have no exhaust tip for the stealth look... no rice sounds AWESOME but is kinda loud..

I am running 2.5 all the way back with a custom resonator and a apexi n1. it is a nice sound IMO

I have full obx exaust, headers on back, it's louder than hell, but sounds really good, but I also don't have a cat conv. so if you keep that in there or get a racing one, and pick a muffler, flowmaster to me has always had a nice deep tone, it should sound good. but i don't have a muffler, just a baffle/cherrybomb type lookin thing so it's louder than hell...

Same here i have the whole obx dtm tip catback with high flow cat, and its loud as hell, wish i had a silencer. Oh well. If you dont want one thats loud, keep ur stock one and put on a big chrome tip, and it will cost you only like 15 bucks!!!

i say personaly preference on this one....you may or may not be happy with what others find to be good. right now im runnin a full 2.25 no cat, no resonator and a ractive muffler. its very loud but it gets fairly quiet in the upper rpms. sound is fairly deep and doesnt sound like a bumble bee on steroids.

I have Magnaflow ss 2 1/4" with offset/center inlet outlets I still have manifold and new midpipe resanator and it sounds really good. Its quiet enough I hear my intake over it but loud enough and non raspy at wot to keep doemstic guys from dissing it

i have a tanabe hyper-medallion and it sounds pretty sweet. i would recomend it.
