Question shaved handles on 89 civic?

i was just wondering about solenoid placement and how to hook up the cables/rods for the solenoid to work properly.

i have my handles shaved on my civic. its hard to explain....but mine are mounted vertical then the cable bend and runs horizontal with the bar that opens the door....hard to explain. i'll try and get a picture to you...

i have a ques. for you travis i want to shave my door handles but i have no power door locks if i get the autoloc shave door kit is that all i need or do i have to put power door locks

Over here it's elegal to take off your door handles, your car fails the NCT (National Car Test) if the tester cant get into it, most people choose to swich the handles with the rear ones from a sedan model so you don't have keyholes anymore but you can still open the door easily.......,,,,,,,,,,....
