ca18et turbo and engine/parts available soon

Hi,

I hope I don't get booted for this post, but I don't think it is really "advertising" as they intended to prohibit, anyways, here goes...

I am converting my 1984 Nissan 200sx Turbo to an electric vehicle. I won't be doing the actual conversion until summer, but I'm looking for a home for the motor, turbo, and a bunch of stuff under the hood. I have several brand-new parts on the engine - spark plug cables, ignition coils, spark plugs (actually still in box, maybe I'll try to return them to Autozone unless someone is interested in getting them super cheap).

The engine has really high miles (204k). It would make a good rebuild. It runs superb, gets good gas mileage, and doesn't burn much oil at all. The turbo charger was replaced about 50k miles ago. The radiator isn't really in great shape, so nobody will probably want that. E-mail me if you have any questions or are interested - [email protected] or [email protected]

Thanks,

Ryan

How much for the whole thing in USD or CDN, and how much seperately.

cost for parts

You'll have to remind me of these numbers when it comes down to it, cause they are just off the top of my head (and are negotiable):

Turbo with pipes: $65
Gas tank: $25
Coils: $12
Spark plug cables: on ebay right now for $12 I think
Brand new turbo seal: on ebay also right now
Everything I strip out (engine, turbo, exhaust manifold, intake manifold, oil pan, everything): $250 + shipping.

It's in running condition right now. The exhaust manifold needs heli coils or inserts of some sort, and the engine is running faithfully at 204K, and would probably love a rebuild. Loses very minimal oil.

A down payment secures anything until I rip it out. Other than that, first person to pay anything.
