tried airbrushing a mural on the hood of my dad's MG midget, looks like a five year old did it,lo9l

LOL, Keep working with it. Try highlighting some of your drawings and growing from there.

Id love to help ya, but I dont really use any "tools" or perspective or anything- I just freehand the whole thing. But I do know what your talking about, when I first started mine looked like what your saying. I just traced "perfect" drawings of cars, like ones in magazines, till I got the basic flow of the car down. If it is gonna help you at all I usuall start with the front bumper right by the front wheel, Dont know why I just do

i usually start with the front windscreen. because when i draw people i usually start with the eyes, to me the windscreen is like the eyes of a car.

I start with the wheel wells...I find that if you do those first, it can decide what perspective you will be veiwing the car at (ie - top, 3/4, front, back, top 3/4...)
