Adding keyless entry '86 camry
How difficult would it be to add Keyless Entry
to my 1986 Camry (already has Power Locks)? I saw a kit at buy.com http://www.buy.com/retail/electronic...2&sku=90108508 but not sure what I would need to do it. Any suggestions? |

no one has ever done this?
Guess I'll have to make it up as I go. Unless someone has suggestions? |

I don't figure it would be too difficult, I mean since the car already has power locks in it, it shouldn't be too hard. I figure the hardest part you will have to deal with is running the wires where they need to go and figuring out a place to mount the module. But other than that, it should be a breeze. I'm not too familiar with the older Camrys, but I know that the Gen 4s are easy to install a keyless entry in. I wish that I knew of some resources to help you with installation, but I really don't.
Best of luck.

Re: Adding keyless entry '86 camry
I've installed a few Bulldog systems and found them to be relatively easy with a website that gives you the location and description of the wires that you splice into.(All the ones I've done were completely under the dash.)
